Second visit to Big Apple

I have been to NYC before, but I didn't pick much memory from last time's visit. I just vaguely remember Melinda(my host mom from Ohio ) asked her friend to pick me up at JFK airport ( I had a fourteen hour flight from Nanjing ) . It was at night ,and we drove through Time Square. All those neon lights looked fascinating to me as it was my first time being in the United States. We stayed at Melinda's best girl friend's house in New Jersey. Later on, we visited the Statue of Liberty. But I was jet lagged heavily that I fell asleep on a ferry!
I still came here with two suitcases by my self this time, but it is not just a visit. I will be spending a semester in New York City. To be honest, my impression for this city wasn't as good as first time when I was here. I think after living at Mac for two years, I am so used to clean beautiful neighborhood instead of crowded and trashy street. There is absolutely no doubt for Minnesotans' niceness. City people just tend to be more rude I guess... I think I would be much ruder if I lived in a big city for my entire life. But anyways, everything is good so far. I am excited for orientation to begin !!!
